AI vs AI

This video has been making its rounds the last couple days. Unclear if it’s real or not. My gut says not. Regardless, it’s an interesting idea that begs the question, will machines even need us at some point?

The video reminds me of Andrew Bujalski’s weird and fantastic 2013 film Computer Chess about a chess tournament where software developers compete their chess-playing computer programs against each other, which I highly recommend.
